    About The Meditation:

Most of us are constantly reminded that the tiniest particles of the physical body are cells. That is true if we look at the body from a biological point of view. However, we tend to ignore another very important fact – the cells are made up of atoms. And atoms are made up of protons, neutrons, and subatomic particles which are constantly vibrating. Each and every cell, every atom of the body is constantly vibrating and is generating energy. The body is energy!

Tibetan Singing Bowls vibrate at a frequency that is similar to the optimum frequency of the human body’s vibration. When they vibrate close to the body, the atoms of the body start resonating with their healthy frequency. This has tremendous positive effects on the physical body and mind and is a deeply relaxing experience as well.

Even though the Tibetan Singing Bowls are distinctly Himalayan, they are made from a very ancient metallurgy technology that did not originate in the Himalayas – and one can’t help but notice that bowls from ancient Persia were also made with the same technology and date as far back as 5,000 years from now. Singing bowls may have also sprung from those early Mesopotamian bowls which were made using the same techniques and metal. As time passed, the healing properties of these bowls were recognized in some regions of China, Nepal, and India.

Historians believe that at the time of Gautam Buddha these bowls were already being used for producing sounds that enhanced the meditative state of monks. Over the centuries the artisans have perfected the art of calibrating the sound of these handmade bowls for the purpose of healing the body, energy, and emotional state of human beings.

Although the origins of the Singing Bowls are not very clear all this evidence suggests that singing bowls are one of the most ancient crafted objects in human history.
